What Is Ven-Con?
Ven-Con is the first-ever group tailored to technology vendors and consultants in the association sector. By fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective expertise, we aim to redefine the practices for selecting, implementing, and managing systems to make this challenging process more achievable for all stakeholders.
Goal
Ven-Con was conceived by two companies in the association technology space, 501Works and PerByte, who saw a need for a better pathway for associations to make technology decisions, so their projects had a higher chance of being successful. To expand oversight of Ven-Con beyond the initial companies, 502Works and PerByte decided to establish a formal governance structure that would be able to clarify the purpose, consider participation structures, envision outputs and outcomes, and address anti-trust and conflict of interest issues.
How to get Involved
2024’s Ven-Con events have come to a close, but 2025 planning is well under way with new Ven-Con events being announced soon. The planning committee is working hard to plan the 2025 schedule to maximize vendor consultant collaboration. Click the button below to join the planning committee today!
